Hi,
It was my birthday yesterday, so I treated myself to a piece of carrot cake, then for dinner I had a piece of cheese pizza bread as well as my normal toast with chicken slices. Today I had an event at work - a sweat odour escaped from my bottom... how dare it, must have been the egg in the cake & the cheese pizza bread. Normally I've been under total control on the low choline diet.! Luckily it only happened once today & I am very stressed & busy at present - overheard someone mentioning it though..... But they eat whatever they want!
Tuesday my 3 colleagues went for a 3 course lunch with wine - bought free for them, I didn't want to go so missed out on a near 3 hr lunchbreak - I took half hour break with no food as normal and carried on working.!
The things we sacrifice with this illness. Our colleagues don't ever let themselves go hungry!
Christmas comes but once a year,
we can raise a non alcoholic glass and cheer,
Turkey dinner - best try & avoid the sprouts,
'cause they'll induce some windy bouts,
chipolatas, stuffing too,
leave them on the plate - like glue.
enjoy the turkey, roast spuds and carrots
& avoid others squawking about odours - like parrots.
When it comes to Christmas pud,
in everyone its known to produce farts well & good,
so we might as well enjoy some too!
we wont be the only ones turning the air 'phew'.
And later on there's Christmas cake for tea,
looking so delicious its winking at me!
Enjoy your slice, savour every bite,
'cause after all its Christmas night,
Tomorrow you'll be spraying your Christmas perfume,
and hoping to avoid the diet breaking gloom,
when those 'forbidden' foods can catch up with you,
and produce those odours so strong - was it worth the chew!

I'd say my piece of carrot cake was worth the chew!
