Postby flashy » Sun Jan 19, 2014 8:28 pm

Hi everyone

I have finally after almost 2 years plucked up the courage to see my GP and to my amazement she referred me to a local metabolic consultant who I am due to see on Friday! I am
Going to eat a lot of beef etc so I smell for my appt but do anyone else have any advice as I am very nervous about how this is going to go! I don't want to lose what I feel is going to be my 'only shot'

Thanks in advance xxx

Hey Flashy,

Well done, you're halfway there!!! :D

Try and relax, ignore people in the waiting room, pretend they are not there, maybe, might sound silly, but imagine we are all with you?
If you can print off as much info as you can, give the GP some websites to look on while you are there, take your time, and get your point across.

You WILL be just fine, we're all behind you, we've done it, and so can you.

Let us know how you get on.

Take care, and be brave, you've got this far, and you've nothing to lose!!!!
