Kitty,
I am sorry about your dad. You was very young when your father left.
It must have had a big impact on you.
My brothers doughters were three years and nine months when the accident happened.
But they have a strong mother and they manage very well.
Take care of you, Flower

Thank-you flower. :) When good people die, and bad people have long successful lives, it makes you wonder why.....
I sympathise with the mood swings, I found those worse than the Tmau for ruining my life, which at least the protocol does something to help. Nothing seemed to help the PMS...
Sorry we've side-tracked your post Jackal :? I hope you haven't stormed off  and we hear how you got on...love kkx

i went to the doctor and few years ago about it but I didn't know about TMAU and i can't smell anything. The doctor said that i didn't smell and i didn't even wash that morning to see if that helped for the doctor. He just asked if I anti-per washed everyday etc . and yes i do. the smell is rotten egg. and someone said i smelled strong of soap. and other day at pub they said it smells of garlic in the room so... but when i drink achcohol my unine smells strong .

but now i know about TMAU i think its that but do i have to show them some info about it and how to get it done because most gps dont know.

Hi Jackal,

If your GP doesnt know where hes sending the sample, whats he going to do with it? I know its awkward questioning a medical professional, but you can always contact Dr Manning yourself and ask him how and where to send your sample then give the details to your GP and clarify it before you give your sample.

Havant been tested because the sent it to the lab they couldn't do it and he wouldn't send it to other because of cost and said there's no evidence.

How can I get this privately done?

Hey,
Should you not go through your GP I think you cn get a testing kit from Smart Nutrition, I may be wrong so please look into this. I havent read the above posts very carefully just skimmed over so I hope this information is helpful. Bubbles

Hey J,
I went ahead and had a snoop for you, this is the link:

http://www.smartnutrition.co.uk/health- ... r-syndrome

Scroll down to the bottom and you will see the test available to buy, you may want to phone ahead and just check that this is still available as you don't know how old some of these web pages are and whether they still offer the facility. Bubbles.
