Potatoes

Postby kittycat » Tue Nov 09, 2010 11:26 am

When reading the new theories about sugar causing more probs than choline, I was reminded that when pots are kept in the fridge the starch turns to sugar. I think I heard it on Radio 4 and not Channel 4 :?
I keep mine in the garage but any dark cold place is ok.Kx

thats very interesting. so maybe when we eat processed potatoes (like chips) they are full of sugar because they will have been stored cold to preserve them for longer presumably? So if we want to avoid sugar (which I do) we should just keep them in the dark at home, but not somewhere cold. good advice :) Im going to start listening to radio 4!

And is the theory on sugar from the bloodborne...site? I need to try and catch up on this because it ties in with what I have found myself......
