Meeting up

Postby bpositive » Wed Aug 17, 2011 8:28 pm

Does anyone know when the next meeting up is? I think Kittykat mentioned something about the Thames?

Is there anything planned for the near future if so what does everyone do, go for a drink?

Would be nice to meet a few people who have been through or going through same thing in person. This site is great it always makes me smile.

Love BP

I have pasted in the details for the meet up from Scientist42's e-mail to me (omitting his mobile no.). On Saturday I'm hoping to meet a friend at Embankment tube station at 5.30pm if anyone is interested in coming later. Hope lots of you come. PM me for mobile phone no. if you need it. Alternatively, contact Scientist42/Arun on his site: breathandbodyodour.proboards

HERE ARE THE DETAILS:
The Annual UK International Breath/Body odour Meet-up will be held in London
(1pm till midnight both days) on Sept 10th and 11th 2011. This Meetup has been
set up to coincide with the Thames Festival 2011.

Just read the following link and you will see that the meet-up has carnivals,
live bands, floats, riverboat rides, international food stalls etc.

http://www.thamesfestival.org/festival/

We usually get around 20 members coming over the entire weekend and we just
chill out and hang out together.

On the Saturday and Sunday, we will meet 1pm onwards on the Upper deck (open
air), of a boat called the Tattershall Castle, which is moored on the river
Thames around 100 yards from Embankment Underground (Metro) station:-

http://www.thetattershallcastle.co.uk/

We will leave the boat at 6pm and in the evening, we will sit on the grassy
areas on the South Bank of the river Thames beside the London Eye and listen to
the live music and watch the firework display over the Thames. There are food
stalls all around and we can sit on the grass and eat/drink.

Some members coming from far will be staying at Travelodge London Tower Bridge
Hotel and the address is:-

Lloyds Court Business Centre
1 Goodmans Yard
London
E1 8AT
Tel: 0871 984 6388
Fax: 0207 6809166

This hotel is 200 metres/yards from Tower Hill tube station and you can
conveniently get the District Line train to Embankment tube station where The
Tattershall Castle boat is moored.
