Please see below sent via the Rare Disease charity

Dear xx,

We have had a number of media requests in the run up to Rare Disease Day and are looking for a number of patient case studies for the following:
The Sun
Scottish Daily Record
BBC Radio Northampton
The Sun

We have been approached by a journalist who is looking to do a special feature for The Sun Me section to mark Rare Disease Day. This will involve a photoshoot in London for which travel is arranged and paid for.

If you are willing to share your story about living with a rare disease, please email our Executive Officer Farhana Ali: farhana@raredisease.org.uk

Those who take part will have the opportunity to look over their story to make sure they are happy with it before it goes to print. Patients will also receive a fee on publication (usually around £50 to £75).
Scottish Daily Record

We have been approached by the Scottish Daily Record, a newspaper in Scotland, who would like to include a number of patient stories in a special feature they are undertaking to mark Rare Disease Day 2015. We are are looking for patients/families in Scotland who would be willing to share their stories. Interviews will take place next week (can be over the phone or in person) and you will also need to share photographs.

If you would like to share your story please contact our Development Officer in Scotland, Natalie Frankish: natalie@geneticalliance.org.uk by 5pm Friday (6th of February).
BBC Radio Northampton

BBC Northampton are also planning a special programme on Rare Disease Day and wish to highlight some rare conditions. If you in the Northamptonshire area please get in touch with Helen Blaby directly: helen.blaby@bbc.co.uk

Hi Malory

Hope you are well!
