finally..some success with my diet

I've not posted on here for ages. I was diagnosed last year with TMAU (1) and have been constantly playing around with diet/supplements and finally found a combination that works for me :D . I was taking nullo for months but still getting complaints (can't smell myself) but I think it was because I thought I could indulge in lots of "forbidden" foods and nullo would prevent me from stinking which sadly wasn't the case. My average day is 6.30am take a nullo tablet as soon as I wake. Breakfast is normally cereal with rice milk or 2 slices of toast with butter and then a B2 tablet, multi vitamin with iron tablet, calcium/vitamin D tablet and probiotics (used to hate swallowing tablets but have had to get used to it :x ). I can have 2oz of protein with my lunch..usually salad.. (no beans..but I can tolerate a bit of full fat cheese/chicken/ham) and 2 charcoal tablets. Around 2pm I take another nullo tablet. Dinner I have another 3oz of protein with rice/pasta/potatoes and 2 charcoal tablets. I have my 3rd nullo tablet when I go to bed. I was finding that if I took my charcoal tablets too close to the nullo then it wasn't working. I assume that the charcoal was absorbing the nullo before it could work?? There are still foods that I can't have under ANY circumstances which are egg whites, coffee, orange juice and coconut . If I have any of these and smell my clothes the next day they stink of burgers..like I've just done a double shift at McDonalds. Although I can't smell myself I've found that I can detect odour on my clothes the next day which is a bit weird. Then again..nothing about this horrendous condition surprises me. I still fast the day before I have an important meeting or have to go on a plane/train but I'm finally starting to see a chink of light at the end of the tunnel and just wanted to share. I'm really interested to read other people's stories of what has worked/not worked for them. I know we are all different but there does seem to be alot of similarities. The other thing that works for me is using johnson 2 in 1 body wash

...forgot to say...I also have a drink of hot water with a slice of lemon mid morning and mid afternoon which has also really helped with breath odour (my main problem) - especially if I've fallen off the wagon and had a bit too much protein the previous day
